1. Who we are
This policy applies to the website operated by Cylex Fluid Power (“Cylex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at cylextfluidpower.nadmaa.com. Our business address is 6322 Clarendon Drive, Canton, Michigan 48187.
2. Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to provide when you contact us, request workspace access, or submit a request for quotation. Depending on the form, this may include:
- your name, company, work email address, and telephone number;
- project, sourcing, delivery, commercial, and end-use information;
- manufacturer names, part numbers, specifications, quantities, and buyer references; and
- files you upload, such as product images, drawings, datasheets, and PDF documents.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, health information, passwords, export-controlled technical data, or other sensitive information that is not necessary for us to assess your request.
Information stored on your device
The RFQ form may save an unfinished draft in your browser’s local storage so you can continue the request on the same device. The draft remains on your device until you submit the RFQ, clear the draft or browser data, or your browser removes it. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
Basic technical information
Our hosting and security systems may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date and time, and security events to deliver and protect the website.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- review and respond to enquiries and RFQs;
- identify products, prepare quotations, coordinate suppliers, and support delivery;
- communicate about customer workspace access when requested;
- maintain business, quotation, order, and compliance records;
- protect our website, systems, customers, and legal rights; and
- comply with applicable laws and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted for an RFQ to send unrelated marketing unless you separately request or agree to it.
4. When we share information
We may share information only as reasonably necessary with employees and contractors who support your request; manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, logistics providers, and other business partners involved in sourcing or fulfillment; service providers that host, secure, or support our systems; professional advisers; or government authorities and other parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Technical or commercial information shared with a potential source is limited where reasonably practical to what is needed to identify availability, suitability, pricing, or delivery.
5. Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, support a business relationship, maintain quotation and transaction records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, compliance, and security obligations. Retention periods vary by record type and business context.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we maintain. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
6. Your choices and requests
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, or object to certain uses, by contacting us. We will review the request and respond consistent with applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping needs. To protect information, we may need to verify your identity and relationship to the relevant company or request.
You may opt out of promotional email at any time by following the instructions in the message or contacting us. Service, quotation, order, safety, and other transactional communications may continue when necessary.
7. Children and international use
This business-to-business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you access the website outside the United States, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website, practices, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
